Lady Queen Paradise has been a steadfast participant in the DIY music circuit since 2014. They are a folk punk at heart and have toured extensively around North America with this ethos in mind. They have written many collections of music and released some of them.

Like a kaleidoscope, Lady Queen Paradise is an ever-changing view. It was once an indie rock band, then an a cappella quintet, and, for a brief moment, a noise project. Lady Queen Paradise blends the traditionally intimate folk vein with an encyclopedic knowledge of indie rock. This special combination has given Lady Queen Paradise a reputation that involves words like "harrowing" and "raw." Once, the avant garde Providence musician Visibilities was reported saying, "I have to remind myself to breathe while [LQP] plays.”

The soft-spoken acoustic rituals of Into the Red Kingdom embody LQP's folk songwriting at its best. Their full-band album You Are Everything glows like an abstract tome, proof of an electric passion and sky-scraping range. As it happens, Lady Queen Paradise has just begun to explore hi-fi routes to expression with their new opera.
